The Year 208 AH
وَفِيهَا تُوُفِّيَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأُمَوِيُّ الْمَعْرُوفُ بِالْبَلَنْسِيِّ صَاحِبُ بَلَنْسِيَةَ مِنَ الْأَنْدَلُسِ، وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ أَخْبَارِهِ مَعَ أَخْبَارِ هِشَامٍ ابْنِ أَخِيهِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ - كَثِيرٌ ).
Translation
✧ In this year died ʿAbd Allāh b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Umawī, known as al-Balansī, lord of Balansiya in al-Andalus. Much of his story has been related earlier, together with the accounts of Hishām, son of his brother al-Ḥakam b. Hishām.
