The Year 208 AH
وَفِيهَا اسْتَعْفَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَمَاعَةَ مِنَ الْقَضَاءِ، فَأَعْفَاهُ الْمَأْمُونُ وَوَلَّى مَكَانَهُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنَ حَمَّادِ بْنِ أَبِي حَنِيفَةَ.
Translation
✧ In this year [208 AH], Muḥammad b. Samāʿah asked to be relieved of the judgeship, and al-Maʾmūn granted his request and appointed in his place Ismāʿīl b. Ḥammād b. Abī Ḥanīfah.
