ذِكْرُ فَتْحِ جِبَالِ طَبَرِسْتَانَ وَالدَّيْلَمِ فِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ افْتَتَحَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ خُرْدَاذْبَهَ وَالِي طَبَرِسْتَانَ الْبَلَاذُرِ، وَالَشَّيْزَرِ، مِنْ بِلَادِ الدَّيْلَمِ، وَافْتَتَحَ جِبَالَ طَبَرِسْتَانَ، فَأَنْزَلَ شَهْرَيَارَ بْنَ شَرْوِينَ عَنْهَا، وَأَشْخَصَ مَازِيَارَ بْنَ قَارَنَ إِلَى الْمَأْمُونِ، وَأَسَرَ أَبَا لَيْلَى مَلِكَ الدَّيْلَمِ.
Translation
✧ Mention of the conquest of the mountains of Tabaristan and al-Daylam In this year, ʿAbd Allāh b. Khurdādhbah, the governor of Tabaristan, conquered al-Balādhur and al-Shayzar from the lands of al-Daylam. He conquered the mountains of Tabaristan, removing Shahryār b. Sharwīn from them, and he sent Māzyār b. Qārin to al-Maʾmūn. He captured Abā Laylā, the king of al-Daylam.
