وَحَجَّ بِالنَّاسِ فِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ عِيسَى بْنِ مُوسَى بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْهَاشِمِيُّ، مِنْ قِبَلِ طَاهِرٍ، وَدَعَا لِلْمَأْمُونِ بِالْخِلَافَةِ بِمَكَّةَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ النَّبَوِيَّةِ، وَهُوَ أَوَّلُ مَوْسِمٍ دُعِيَ فِيهِ لِلْمَأْمُونِ بِالْخِلَافَةِ.
Translation
✧ Al-ʿAbbās b. Mūsā b. ʿĪsā b. Mūsā b. Muḥammad b. ʿAlī al-Hāshimī led the people in the pilgrimage in this year, on behalf of Ṭāhir, and he made the call for al-Maʾmūn to the caliphate in Makkah and the Prophetic Madinah. This was the first pilgrimage season in which the call was made for al-Maʾmūn to the caliphate.
