ذِكْرُ عِدَّةِ حَوَادِثَ وَفِي سَنَةُ ثَلَاثٍ وَثَمَانِينَ وَمِائَةٍ اسْتَقْدَمَ الرَّشِيدُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ عِيسَى مِنْ خُرَاسَانَ، ثُمَّ رَدَّهُ عَلَيْهَا مِنْ قِبَلِ ابْنِهِ الْمَأْمُونِ ، وَأَمَرَهُ بِحَرْبِ أَبِي الْخَصِيبِ. وَفِيهَا خَرَجَ بِنَسَا مِنْ خُرَاسَانَ أَبُو الْخَصِيبِ وُهَيْبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ النَّسَائِيُّ. وَحَجَّ بِالنَّاسِ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْهَادِي. ( وَفِيهَا كَانَتْ بِالْأَنْدَلُسِ فِتْنَةٌ وَحَرْبٌ بَيْنَ قَائِدٍ كَبِيرٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ أَبُو عِمْرَانَ، وَبَيْنَ بَهْلُولِ بْنِ مَرْزُوقٍ، وَهُوَ مِنْ أَعْيَانِ الْأَنْدَلُسِ، وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ الْبَلَنْسِيُّ مَعَ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ، فَانْهَزَمَ أَصْحَابُ بَهْلُولٍ، وَقُتِلَ كَثِيرٌ مِنْهُمْ.
Translation
✧ Mention of several events In the year one hundred and eighty-three, al-Rashīd summoned ʿAlī b. ʿĪsā from Khurāsān, then sent him back to it on behalf of his son al-Maʾmūn, and ordered him to fight Abū al-Khaṣīb. In it, Abū al-Khaṣīb Wuhayb b. ʿAbd Allāh al-Nasāʾī rose up in Nasā in Khurāsān. Al-ʿAbbās b. al-Hādī led the people in the pilgrimage. In it there was in al-Andalus a strife and war between a great commander called Abū ʿImrān and Bahlūl b. Marzūq, who was one of the notables of al-Andalus. ʿAbd Allāh al-Balansī was with Abū ʿImrān, and the companions of Bahlūl were routed and many of them were killed.
