ذِكْرُ مَنْ تُوُفِّيَ فِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ مِنَ الْأَكَابِرِ . الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَيَّاشِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَيَّاشِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ، مَوْلَى بَنِي أَسَدٍ وَهُوَ أَخُو أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ الْقَارِئِ. مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ، وَكَانَ وَصِيَّ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ، وَسَمِعَ أَبَا إِسْحَاقَ الشَّيْبَانِيَّ، وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنَ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، وَالْأَعْمَشَ، وَغَيْرَهُمْ، وَكَانَ ثِقَةً. تُوُفِّيَ فِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ. عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ بْنِ الْغَسِيلِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ الْمَدِينِيُّ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ بْنِ الْغَسِيلِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ الْمَدِينِيُّ. رَأَى سَهْلَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ وَأَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، وَسَمِعَ عِكْرِمَةَ، رَوَى عَنْهُ أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ، وَكَانَ ثِقَةً. تُوُفِّيَ فِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ. وَقِيلَ: السَّنَةِ الَّتِي قَبْلَهَا. وَفِيهَا مَاتَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، وَهُوَ أَخُو عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، وَتُوُفِّيَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ أَبِي عَتِيقٍ. ( وَتُوُفِّيَ أَبُو يَزِيدَ رِيَاحُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ اللَّخْمِيُّ الزَّاهِدُ، بِمَدِينَةِ الْقَيْرَوَانِ، وَكَانَ مُجَابَ الدَّعْوَةِ ).
Translation
✧ Account of the prominent figures who died in this year. Al-Ḥasan b. ʿAyyāsh b. Sālim, client of Banū Asad, and he was the brother of Abū Bakr b. ʿAyyāsh al-Qāriʾ. From the people of al-Kūfah, and he was the executor of Sufyān al-Thawrī. He heard from Abū Isḥāq al-Shaybānī, Ismāʿīl b. Abī Khālid, al-Aʿmash, and others, and he was trustworthy. He died in this year. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Sulaymān b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. ʿAbd Allāh b. Ḥanẓalah b. al-Ghasīl al-Anṣārī al-Madanī. He saw Sahl b. Saʿd and Anas b. Mālik, and heard ʿikrimah. Abū Nuʿaym al-Faḍl b. Dukayn narrated from him, and he was trustworthy. He died in this year. It was said: in the year before it. In it died al-Faḍl b. Ṣāliḥ b. ʿAlī b. ʿAbd Allāh b. ʿAbbās, and he was the brother of ʿAbd al-Malik, and Sulaymān b. Bilāl, client of Ibn Abī ʿAtīq, died. (And Abū Yazīd Riyāḥ b. Yazīd al-Lakhmī the ascetic died in the city of al-Qayrawān, and he was one whose supplication was answered).
