Then the year 157 AH began
وَغَزَا الصَّائِفَةَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ أُسَيْدٍ السُّلَمِيُّ فَوَجَّهَ سِنَانًا مَوْلَى الْبَطَّالِ إِلَى حِصْنٍ، فَسَبَى وَغَنِمَ. وَقِيلَ: إِنَّمَا غَزَا الصَّائِفَةَ زُفَرُ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ.
Translation
✧ Yazīd b. Usayd al-Sulamī raided the summer expedition, and he dispatched Sinān, the mawlā of al-Baṭṭāl, to a fortress, and he took captives and gained booty. It was said: The one who raided the summer expedition was Zufar b. ʿĀṣim.
