Then the year 157 AH began
وَفِيهَا قَتَلَ الْمَنْصُورُ يَحْيَى بْنَ زَكَرِيَّاءَ الْمُحْتَسِبَ، وَكَانَ يَطْعَنُ عَلَى الْمَنْصُورِ وَيَجْمَعُ الْجَمَاعَاتِ فِيمَا قِيلَ.
Translation
✧ In it, al-Manṣūr killed Yaḥyā b. Zakariyyāʾ al-Muḥtasib, who used to criticize al-Manṣūr and gather groups, as was said.
