Then the year 154 AH began
وَفِيهَا: حَجَّ بِالنَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَهُوَ كَانَ الْعَامِلَ عَلَى مَكَّةَ وَالطَّائِفِ. وَكَانَ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، وَعَلَى الْكُوفَةِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، وَعَلَى الْبَصْرَةِ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، وَعَلَى قَضَائِهَا سَوَّارٌ، وَعَلَى السِّنْدِ هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، وَعَلَى إِفْرِيقِيَةَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، وَعَلَى مِصْرَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ.
Translation
✧ In it: Muḥammad b. Ibrāhīm led the people in the pilgrimage, and he was the governor over Makkah and al-Ṭāʾif. Over al-Madīnah was al-Ḥasan b. Zayd, over al-Kūfah Muḥammad b. Sulaymān, over al-Baṣrah ʿAbd al-Malik b. Ayyūb, and over its judiciary Sawwār, over al-Sind Hishām b. ʿAmr, over Ifrīqiyah Yazīd b. Ḥātim, and over Miṣr Muḥammad b. Saʿīd.
