Then the year 149 AH began
وَكَانَ أَبُو الصَّبَّاحِ حُيَىُّ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَلَى إِشْبِيلِيَّةَ فَعَزَلَهُ فَدَعَا إِلَى الْخِلَافِ، فَأَنْفَذَ إِلَيْهِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ وَخَدَعَهُ حَتَّى حَضَرَ عِنْدَهُ فَقَتَلَهُ.
Translation
✧ Abū al-Ṣabbāḥ Ḥuyayy b. Yaḥyā was over Ishbīliyyah, so he dismissed him, and he called for opposition. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān sent to him and deceived him until he came into his presence, then he killed him.
