Then the year 149 AH began
وَفِيهَا أَغْزَى عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ صَاحِبُ الْأَنْدَلُسِ بَدْرًا مَوْلَاهُ إِلَى بِلَادِ الْعَدُوِّ فَجَاوَزَ إِلَيْهِ وَأَخَذَ جِزْيَتَهَا
Translation
✧ In it ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, the ruler of al-Andalus, sent Badr, his mawlā, on a raid into the enemy’s lands, and he crossed over to it and took its jizyah.
