Then the year 144 AH began
ثُمَّ دَخَلَتْ سَنَةُ أَرْبَعٍ وَأَرْبَعِينَ وَمِائَةٍ فِيهَا سَارَ مُحَمَّدٌ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ السَّفَّاحِ عَنْ أَمْرِ عَمِّهِ الْمَنْصُورِ إِلَى بِلَادِ الدَّيْلَمِ، وَمَعَهُ الْجُيُوشُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ وَالْبَصْرَةِ وَوَاسِطَ وَالْمَوْصِلِ وَالْجَزِيرَةِ.
Translation
✧ Then the year 144 AH began In it, Muḥammad b. Abī al-ʿAbbās al-Saffāḥ marched at the command of his paternal uncle al-Manṣūr to the lands of al-Daylam, and with him were armies from the people of al-Kūfah, al-Baṣrah, Wāsiṭ, al-Mawṣil, and al-Jazīrah.
