Then the year 143 AH began
فِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ ثَارَ الدَّيْلَمُ بِالْمُسْلِمِينَ ، فَقَتَلُوا مِنْهُمْ مَقْتَلَةً عَظِيمَةً، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ الْمَنْصُورَ، فَنَدَبَ النَّاسَ إِلَى قِتَالِ الدَّيْلَمِ وَجِهَادِهِمْ.
Translation
✧ In this year the Daylamites rose against the Muslims and inflicted a great slaughter upon them. This reached al-Manṣūr, so he summoned the people to fight the Daylamites and wage jihād against them.
