ومما حدث في سَنَةُ سِتٍّ وَمِائَةٍ أَنَّ هِشَامًا عَزْلَ عَبْدَ الْوَاحِدِ النَّضْرِيَّ عَنْ مَكَّةَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ وَالطَّائِفِ، وَوَلَّى ذَلِكَ خَالَهُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنَ هِشَامِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْمَخْزُومِيِّ، فَقَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ يَوْمَ الْجُمْعَةِ لِسَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ خَلَتْ مِنْ جُمَادَى الْآخِرَةِ، وَكَانَتْ وِلَايَةُ النَّضْرِيِّ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ سَنَةً وَثَمَانِيَةَ أَشْهُرٍ.
Translation
✧ Among the events that occurred in the year one hundred and six: That Hishām dismissed ʿAbd al-Wāḥid al-Naḍrī from Makkah, Madinah, and al-Ṭāʾif, and appointed over that his maternal uncle Ibrāhīm b. Hishām b. Ismāʿīl al-Makhzūmī. He arrived in Madinah on Friday, seventeen nights having passed of Jumādā al-Ākhirah. The tenure of al-Naḍrī over Madinah was one year and eight months.
