وَحَجَّ بِالنَّاسِ سنة اثنتين ومائة عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الضَّحَّاكِ، وَهُوَ عَامِلُ الْمَدِينَةِ. وَكَانَ عَلَى مَكَّةَ: عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ. وَكَانَ عَلَى الْكُوفَةِ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ذُو الشَّامَةِ، وَعَلَى قَضَائِهَا: الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، وَعَلَى الْبَصْرَةِ: عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ بِشْرِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ إِلَى أَنْ عَزَلَهُ عُمَرُ بْنُ هُبَيْرَةَ، وَعَلَى خُرَاسَانَ: سَعِيدُ خُذَيْنَةَ، وَعَلَى مِصْرَ: أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ.
Translation
✧ In the year one hundred and two, ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. al-Ḍaḥḥāk led the people in the Hajj, and he was the governor of al-Madīnah. Over Makkah was ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. ʿAbd Allāh b. Khālid. Over al-Kūfah was Muḥammad b. ʿAmr Dhū al-Shāmah, and over its judiciary was al-Qāsim b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. ʿAbd Allāh b. Masʿūd. Over al-Baṣrah was ʿAbd al-Malik b. Bishr b. Marwān until ʿUmar b. Hubayrah dismissed him. Over Khurāsān was Saʿīd Khudhaynah. Over Miṣr was Usāmah b. Zayd.
