The Year 100 of the Prophetic Hijrah

Translation

✧ In the year 100 of the Hijrah, the pilgrimage with the people was led by Abu Bakr b. Muhammad b. ʿAmr b. Hazm, the governor of Madinah. The governors over the main cities are those mentioned in the previous year, except for those whom we have noted as having been dismissed and replaced by others. And Allah knows best. ʿUmar b. ʿAbd al-ʿAziz did not perform the pilgrimage during the days of his caliphate because he was occupied with affairs, but he used to send the courier to Madinah and say to him: 'Convey my greetings to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.'
