The Year Ninety-Three
وفي سَنَةُ ثَلَاثٍ وَتِسْعِينَ افْتَتَحَ مَسْلَمَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ حُصُونًا كَثِيرَةً مِنْ بِلَادِ الرُّومِ; مِنْهَا حِصْنُ الْحَدِيدِ، وَغَزَالَةُ، وَمَاسَةُ، وَغَيْرُ ذَلِكَ.
Translation
✧ In the year ninety-three Maslama b. ʿAbd al-Malik conquered many fortresses in the lands of the Byzantines; among them the fortress of al-Ḥadīd, Ghazāla, Māsa, and others.
