The Year Ninety-One
Translation
✧ And in the year ninety-one, Mūsā b. Nuṣayr raided the lands of the Maghrib, and he conquered many cities, and he entered into those lands, and he penetrated into them until he reached remote, far-off territories in which there were traces of palaces and houses with no inhabitant. And he found there, among the traces of the prosperity of the people of those lands, what shone upon their markers [showing] that their people had been possessors of wealth and of abounding, ample prosperity—then they all perished, so there is no one to give news of them.
