The Year Seventy of the Hijrah
[ يَوْمُ لِبَّى ] وَالْتَقَوْا أَيْضًا بِلِبَّى فَوْقَ تَكْرِيتَ مِنْ أَرْضِ الْمَوْصِلِ، فَتَنَاصَفُوا، فَقَيْسٌ تَقُولُ: كَانَ الْفَضْلُ لَنَا، وَتَغْلِبُ تَقُولُ: كَانَ الْفَضْلُ لَنَا.
Translation
✧ [The Day of Libbā] They also met at Libbā above Takrīt in the land of al-Mawṣil, and they fought to a draw. Qays says: The advantage was ours, and Taghlib says: The advantage was ours.
