The Year Seventy of the Hijrah
وَحَجَّ بِالنَّاسِ هَذِهِ السَّنَةَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ كَانَ عُمَّالُهُ عَلَى أَمْصَارِهِ عُمَّالَهُ فِي السَّنَةِ الَّتِي قَبْلَهَا عَلَى الْمَعَاوِنِ وَالْقَضَاءِ، وَبِالشَّامِ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ.
Translation
✧ ʿAbd Allāh b. al-Zubayr led the people in the pilgrimage this year. His governors over the provinces, his functionaries that year and the preceding one for the diwans and the judiciary, and in Syria, was ʿAbd al-Malik b. Marwān.
