8 حَجَّ بِالنَّاسِ فِي سنة سبع وستين عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ ابْنُ جَرِيرٍ: وَحَجَّ بِالنَّاسِ فِي سنة سبع وستين عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ وَكَانَ عَامِلُهُ عَلَى الْكُوفَةِ أَخَاهُ مُصْعَبًا، وَعَلَى الْبَصْرَةِ ابْنَهُ حَمْزَةَ، وَقِيلَ: بَلْ كَانَ رَجَعَ إِلَيْهَا أَخُوهُ. وَعَلَى خُرَاسَانَ وَتِلْكَ الْبِلَادِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ خَازِمٍ السُّلَمِيُّ مِنْ جِهَةِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ وَكَانَ عَلَى قَضَاءِ الْكُوفَةِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، وَعَلَى قَضَاءِ الْبَصْرَةِ هِشَامُ بْنُ هُبَيْرَةَ، وَبِالشَّامِ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ. وَاللَّهُ سُبْحَانَهُ أَعْلَمُ.

Translation

✧ 8 ʿAbd Allāh b. al-Zubayr led the people in the pilgrimage in the year sixty-seven. Ibn Jarīr said: ʿAbd Allāh b. al-Zubayr led the people in the pilgrimage in the year sixty-seven, and his governor over Kufa was his brother Muṣʿab, and over Basra his son Ḥamzah, and it was said: rather, his brother had returned to it. Over Khurasan and those lands was ʿAbd Allāh b. Khāzim al-Sulamī from the side of Ibn al-Zubayr. Over the judiciary of Kufa was ʿAbd Allāh b. ʿUtbah b. Masʿūd, and over the judiciary of Basra was Hishām b. Hubayrah, and in Syria was ʿAbd al-Malik b. Marwān. And God, glorified be He, knows best.
