Translation
✧ The going forth of Abū Maryam Then Abū Maryam, the client of Banū al-Ḥārith b. Kaʿb, went forth, and with him were two women: Qaṭām and Kuḥaylah. He was the first to bring out women with him, and Abū Bilāl b. Udayyah criticized him for that. He said: "Women fought alongside the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and with the Muslims in Syria, and I shall send them back." So he sent the two of them back. Then al-Mughīrah sent Jābir al-Bajalī against him, and he fought him, and Abū Maryam and his companions were killed at Bādūrayā.
