ذِكْرُ صِفَتِهِ كَانَ رَجُلًا آدَمَ شَدِيدَ الْأُدْمَةِ شَكِلَ الْعَيْنَيْنِ عَظِيمَهُمَا، فِيهِمَا خَفَشٌ، ذُو بَطْنٍ، أَصْلَعَ، وَهُوَ إِلَى الْقِصَرِ أَقْرَبُ، وَكَانَ عَظِيمَ اللِّحْيَةِ، قَدْ مَلَأَتْ صَدْرَهُ وَمَنْكِبَيْهِ، أَبْيَضُهَا كَثِيرٌ، وَكَانَ كَثِيرَ شَعْرِ الصَّدْرِ وَالْكَتِفَيْنِ، حَسَنَ الْوَجْهِ، ضَحُوكَ السِّنِّ، خَفِيفَ الْمَشْيِ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ.
Translation
✧ Mention of his description He was a man of dark brown complexion, intensely dark brown, with large, prominent eyes, in which there was some narrowing of the eyelids. He had a paunch, was bald, and was closer to being short. He had a large beard that filled his chest and shoulders, with much white in it. He had abundant hair on his chest and shoulders, a handsome face, was cheerful, showing his teeth when smiling, and walked lightly upon the earth.
