The Caliphate of ʿUthmān b. ʿAffān
ذِكْرُ مَنْ تُوُفِّيَ فِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ حَبِيبُ بْنُ يَسَافِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ تَأَخَّرَ إِسْلَامُهُ حَتَّى خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِلَى بَدْرٍ، فَلَحِقَهُ فَأَسْلَمَ وَشَهِدَ أُحُدًا وَالْخَنْدَقَ. وَتُوُفِّيَ فِي خِلَافَةِ عُثْمَانَ ؓ.
Translation
✧ Mention of Those Who Died in This Year Ḥabīb b. Yasāf b. ʿUtbah His Islam was delayed until the Messenger of God ﷺ went out to Badr, and he caught up with him and became Muslim, and he witnessed Uḥud and the Trench. He died during the caliphate of ʿUthmān ؓ.
