The messengers of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his correspondence to the kings and the like
إِرْسَالِهِ ﷺ نُمَيْرَ بْنَ خَرَشَةَ إِلَى ثَقِيفٍ [قَالَ ابْنُ سَعْدٍ فِي الطَّبَقَاتِ: وَكَتَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِثَقِيفٍ كِتَابًا أَنَّ لَهُمْ ذِمَّةَ اللَّهِ وَذِمَّةَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَلَى مَا كَتَبَ لَهُمْ-، وَكَتَبَ خَالِدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَشَهِدَ الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ، وَدَفَعَ الْكِتَابَ إِلَى نُمَيْرِ بْنِ خَرَشَةَ ].
Translation
✧ His ﷺ sending Numayr b. Kharashah to Thaqīf [Ibn Saʿd said in al-Ṭabaqāt: And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wrote for Thaqīf a document that they have the protection of Allah and the protection of Muḥammad b. ʿAbd Allāh ﷺ, according to what he wrote for them—, and Khālid b. Saʿīd wrote it, and al-Ḥasan and al-Ḥusayn bore witness, and he handed the document to Numayr b. Kharashah].
