Translation

✧ Summary of the story of Ishmael son of Abraham (peace be upon them): Prophet of Allah, son of the Friend of Allah Abraham (peace be upon them), and he is the intended sacrifice according to the correct view, and the eldest of his father's sons. His mother was Hagar the Copt (peace be upon her). He ﷺ married a woman from the Amalekites, and his father commanded him to separate from her in a story, so he separated from her. Then he married al-Sayyidah bt. Muḍāḍ b. ʿAmr al-Jurhumī, and he is the father of the Arabized Arabs, and all the Arabs are from his progeny and the progeny of his son Qaydār or Nābit. Allah took Ishmael as a prophet after Abraham, and he was sent to the Amalekites, Jurhum, and the tribes of Yemen. He forbade them from worshipping idols, and a group of them believed in him while the majority disbelieved. Allah, may He be glorified, praised him and described him with forbearance, patience, truthfulness of promise, and maintaining prayer and commanding his family to perform it. He ﷺ died in Makkah and was buried beside his mother Hagar at the age of one hundred and thirty-seven years. He had bequeathed to his brother Isaac ﷺ.
