The Expedition of Muʾtah
[ مَقْتَلُ ابْنِ حَارِثَةَ ] قَالَ ابْنُ إسْحَاقَ: تَمَّ الْتَقَى النَّاسُ وَاقْتَتَلُوا، فَقَاتَلَ زَيْدُ بْنُ حَارِثَةَ بِرَايَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ حَتَّى شَاطَ فِي رِمَاحِ الْقَوْمِ.
Translation
✧ [ The Killing of Ibn Ḥārithah ] Ibn Isḥāq said: Then the people met and fought. Zayd b. Ḥārithah fought with the banner of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ until he was pierced by the spears of the people.
