The Treaty of al-Hudaybiyah
Translation
✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by al-Abwāʾ during the ʿUmrah of al-Ḥudaybiyah, he said: “Allah has permitted Muḥammad to visit the grave of his mother.” So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to it, set it right, and wept by it, and the Muslims wept because of the weeping of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. It was said to him: [Why do you weep?] He said: “A mercy came upon me for which I felt compassion, and so I wept.”
