أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ الْفَقِيهُ ثنا أَبُو قِلَابَةَ وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ فِي آخَرِينَ قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ثنا أَيْمَنُ بْنُ نَابِلٍ ثنا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «يُعَلِّمُنَا التَّشَهُّدَ كَمَا يُعَلِّمُنَا السُّورَةَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَبِاللَّهِ التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلَّهِ الصَّلَوَاتُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ لِلَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عَبَّادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ نَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْجَنَّةَ وَنَعُوذُ بِهِ مِنَ النَّارِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to teach us the tashahhud just as he taught us a surah from the Quran: "In the name of Allah and by Allah. Greetings, prayers, and good things are due to Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. We ask Allah for Paradise and seek refuge in Him from the Fire."
