✧ A tribulation is presented to the hearts. Any heart that rejects it, a white dot is inscribed in it. Any heart that does not reject it, a black dot is inscribed in it. Then another tribulation is presented to the hearts. If the heart that rejected it the first time rejects it, a white dot is inscribed in it. If it does not reject it, a black dot is inscribed. Then another tribulation is presented to the hearts. If the one that rejected it the first two times rejects it, it becomes intensely white, pure, and clear, and no tribulation will ever harm it. If it did not reject it the first two times, it becomes black, turns back, and is overturned, so it neither recognizes truth nor rejects wrong.
