  • al-Dhahabi

machine translationIts chain is weak (ḍaʿīf). al-Rabīʿ b. Badr b. ʿAmr, known as ʿUlayyah, is feeble (wāhin), and his father and grandfather are both unknown (majhūl), as stated by al-Dhahabī. It is surprising that al-Ḥākim included it in his Mustadrak, though he remained silent about it, neither authenticating it nor weakening it.
