حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَالَوَيْهِ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ بَشِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ الْمَرْثَدِيُّ ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ ثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَحِيرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ هَانِئًا مَوْلَى عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ يَقُولُ رَأَيْتُ عُثْمَانَ وَاقِفًا عَلَى قَبْرٍ يَبْكِي حَتَّى بَلَّ لِحْيَتَهُ فَقِيلَ لَهُ تَذْكُرُ الْجَنَّةَ وَالنَّارَ وَلَا تَبْكِي وَتَبْكِي مِنْ هَذَا؟ قَالَ إِنِّي
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْقَبْرُ أَوَّلُ مَنَازِلِ الْآخِرَةِ فَإِنْ نَجَا مِنْهُ فَمَا بَعْدَهُ أَيْسَرُ مِنْهُ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَنْجُ مِنْهُ فَمَا بَعْدَهُ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُ» صحيح
