حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ أَبِي عُشَّانَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ
«إِذَا تَطَهَّرَ الرَّجُلُ ثُمَّ مَرَّ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَيَرْعَى الصَّلَاةَ كَتَبَ لَهُ كَاتَبُهُ أَوْ كَاتِبَاهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ يَخْطُوهَا إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ عَشْرَ حَسَنَاتٍ وَالْقَاعِدُ يُرَاعِي الصَّلَاةَ كَالْقَانِتِ وَيُكْتَبُ مِنَ الْمُصَلِّينَ مِنْ حِينِ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ»

✧ “When a man purifies himself and then proceeds to the mosque to observe the prayer, his scribe or scribes record for him ten good deeds for every step he takes to the mosque. And the one who sits waiting for the prayer is like the one in devout obedience, and he is recorded among those who pray from the time he leaves his house until he returns.”
