أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْآدَمِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَاهَانَ ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يُحَدِّثُ قَالَ
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْعَتِيكِ فَحَدَّثَ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ أَنَّ يَحْيَى بْنَ يَعْمَرَ يَقُولُ «مَنِ اشْتَرَى أُضْحِيَّةَ فِي الْعَشْرِ فَلَا يَأْخُذُ مِنْ شَعْرِهِ وَأَظْفَارِهِ» قَالَ سَعِيدٌ نَعَمْ فَقُلْتُ عَنْ مَنْ يَا أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ؟ قَالَ عَنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺسكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

✧ A man from the 'Atik came and told Sa'id b. al-Musayyab that Yahya b. Ya'mar said: 'Whoever buys a sacrificial animal during the ten days, let him not cut his hair or nails.' Sa'id said: Yes. I said: From whom, O Abu Muhammad? He said: From the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
