✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was brought some clothes, among them a khamesah [a square garment with decorative borders]. He said to his Companions, "Who do you think is most entitled to this khamesah?" They remained silent. Then he called Umm Khalid and dressed her in it, saying, "Wear it out, my little girl, and make it worn. Wear it out and make it worn. Wear it out and make it worn." He said, "There was a red mark on it. He began to say, 'O Umm Khalid, sana.' Sana in the language of the Abyssinians means beautiful."
