أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الدَّقَّاقُ بِهَمْدَانَ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ الضَّبِّيُّ ثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

مَرَّ بِالنَّبِيِّ ﷺ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ إِنِّي لَأُحِبُّهُ فِي اللَّهِ ﷻ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَأَعْلَمْتَهُ؟» قَالَ لَا قَالَ «فَأَعْلِمْهُ» قَالَ فَلَقِيتُ الرَّجُلَ فَأَعْلَمْتُهُ فَقَالَ أَحَبَّكَ اللَّهُ الَّذِي أَحْبَبْتَنِي لَهُ

✧ A man passed by the Prophet ﷺ, and a man said: Indeed I love him for the sake of Allah ﷻ. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Have you informed him?' He said: No. He said: 'Then inform him.' He said: So I met the man and informed him, and he said: May Allah, for whose sake you loved me, love you.
