حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ ثَنَا عَبْدَانُ الْأَهْوَازِيُّ ثَنَا مَعْمَرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ثَنَا عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عُيَيْنَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ الثَّقَفِيِّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ

«مَا مِنْ ذَنْبٍ أَحْرَى وَأَجْدَرَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى لِصَاحِبِهِ فِيهِ الْعُقُوبَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا مَعَ مَا يَدَّخِرُ لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ قَطِيعَةِ الرَّحِمِ وَالْبَغْيِ»

✧ There is no sin more likely and deserving that Allah, the Exalted, make its perpetrator suffer punishment in this world along with what He stores for him in the Hereafter than severing ties of kinship and oppression.
