✧ A Jewish woman gifted a roasted sheep to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When the people spread out their hands, the Prophet ﷺ said to them: Withhold your hands, for a limb of its limbs informs me that it is poisoned. He sent for its owner and said: Did you poison this food of yours? She said: Yes. I wanted, if you were a liar, to relieve the people of you, and if you were truthful, I knew that Allah would inform you of it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Mention the name of Allah and eat. So we ate and nothing harmed any of us.
