✧ The Ansar were afflicted by hard toil in watering, so they came to the Prophet ﷺ to ask him to pray for them or to dig a canal for them. When the Prophet ﷺ was informed, he said: “Do not ask me today for anything but that it will be granted to you.” When they heard what the Prophet ﷺ said, they said: “Pray to Allah for forgiveness for us.” He said: “O Allah, forgive the Ansar, the children of the Ansar, and the children of the children of the Ansar.”
