✧ Recitation of the virtues of the Ansar

حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ ثَنَا السَّرِيُّ بْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ اسْتَقْبَلَ غِلْمَانًا مِنْ غِلْمَانِ الْأَنْصَارِ وَإِمَاءً وَعَبِيدًا فَقَالَ «وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لَأُحِبُّكُمْ» هَذَا حَدِيثُ صَحِيحُ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ met some young boys, slave women, and slaves of the Ansar and said: “By Allah, I love you.” This hadith is sahih according to Muslim's criterion, but they did not include it. Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in the Talkhis.
