✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say on the pulpit: "What is the matter with people who say that my kinship will not benefit? Nay, by Allah, my kinship is connected in this world and the Hereafter. O people, I am your predecessor at the Pond. When I come, men will stand up and say: 'This one, O Messenger of Allah, is so-and-so,' and another will say: 'This one, O Messenger of Allah, is so-and-so,' and another will say: 'This one, O Messenger of Allah, is so-and-so.' I will say: 'I knew you, but you introduced innovations after me and turned back on your heels.'"
