حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ بَالَوَيْهِ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْحَرْبِيُّ ثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ
«وَأُمُّ فَرْوَةَ بِنْتُ أَبِي قُحَافَةَ أُخْتُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ عَمَّةُ عَائِشَةَ وَأُمُّهَا هِنْدُ بِنْتُ نُفَيْلِ بْنِ بُجَيْرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ قُصَيٍّ زَوَّجَهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْأَشْعَثَ بْنَ قَيْسٍ فَوَلَدَتْ لَهُ مُحَمَّدًا وَإِسْحَاقَ وَحُبَابَةَ وَقُرَيْبَةَ»

✧ And Umm Farwah bt. Abi Quhafah, the sister of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, the paternal aunt of 'A'ishah; her mother was Hind bt. Nufayl b. Bujayr b. 'Ubayd b. Qusayy. Abu Bakr married her to al-Ash'ath b. Qays, and she bore him Muhammad, Ishaq, Hubabah, and Quraybah.
