أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الْجَهْمِ ثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ
وَحَمْنَةُ بِنْتُ جَحْشٍ كَانَتْ عِنْدَ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ وَقُتِلَ عَنْهَا يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ فَتَزَوَّجَهَا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ فَوَلَدَتْ لَهُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ السَّجَّادِ وَبِهِ كَانَ يُكَنَّى وَعَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ طَلْحَةَ۔»

✧ "Ḥamnah bt. Jaḥsh was married to Muṣʿab b. ʿUmayr, and he was killed leaving her on the day of Uḥud. Then Ṭalḥah b. ʿUbayd Allāh married her, and she bore him Muḥammad b. al-Sajjād, by whom he was given his kunyah, and ʿAbd Allāh b. Ṭalḥah."
