أَخْبَرَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ ثَنَا جَدِّي ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَخِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بِلَالٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ أُمِّهِ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ عُتْبَةَ

أَنَّ أَبَا حُذَيْفَةَ ذَهَبَ بِهَا وَبِأُخْتِهَا هِنْدٍ يُبَايِعَانِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَلَمَّا اشْتَرَطَ عَلَيْهِنَّ قَالَتْ هِنْدٌ أَوَ تَعْلَمُ فِي نِسَاءِ قَوْمِكَ مَنْ هَذِهِ الْهَنَاتِ وَالْعَاهَاتِ شَيْئًا؟ فَقَالَ لَهَا أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ إِيهَا فَبَايِعِيهِ فَإِنَّهُ هَكَذَا يَشْتَرِطُ سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

✧ Abū Ḥudhayfah took her and her sister Hind to pledge allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When he stipulated conditions upon them, Hind said, "Do you know of any of these flaws and defects among the women of your people?" Abū Ḥudhayfah said to her, "Come on, pledge allegiance to him, for this is how he stipulates." Al-Dhahabī remained silent about it in the Talkhīṣ.
