حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَالَوَيْهِ ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَرْبِيُّ ثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ قَالَ
«أُمُّ كُلْثُومٍ بِنْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ أَبِي مُعَيْطٍ أُمُّهَا أَرْوَى بِنْتُ كَرِيزٍ أَسْلَمَتْ أُمُّ كُلْثُومٍ وَبَايَعَتْ قَبْلَ الْهِجْرَةِ وَهِيَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ هَاجَرَ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ»

✧ Umm Kulthum bt. 'Uqba b. Abi Mu'ayt, her mother was Arwa bt. Kurayz. Umm Kulthum embraced Islam and gave allegiance before the Hijra, and she was the first woman to emigrate after the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
