أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَرْبٍ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ قَالَتْ

جُوَيْرِيَةُ بِنْتُ الْحَارِثِ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ أَزْوَاجَكَ يَفْخَرْنَ عَلَيَّ يَقُلْنَ لَمْ يَتَزَوَّجْكِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّمَا أَنْتِ مِلْكُ يَمِينٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَلَمْ أُعَظِّمْ صَدَاقَكِ أَلَمْ أُعْتِقَ أَرْبَعِينَ رَقَبَةً مِنْ قَوْمِكِ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

✧ Juwayriyah bint al-Harith said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: "Your wives boast over me, saying: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not marry you; you are only a possession of the right hand.'" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Did I not make your dowry great? Did I not free forty slaves from your people?" Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in the Talkhis.
