حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
«لَمَّا أَصَابَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَبَايَا بَنِي الْمُصْطَلِقِ وَقَعَتْ جُوَيْرِيَةُ بِنْتُ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أَبِي ضِرَارٍ فِي السَّهْمِ لِثَابِتِ بْنِ قَيْسِ بْنِ الشَّمَّاسِ فَكَاتَبَتْهُ عَلَى نَفْسِهَا وَكَانَتِ امْرَأَةً حُلْوَةً مَلِيحَةً لَا يَكَادُ يَرَاهَا أَحَدٌ إِلَّا أَخَذَتْ بِنَفْسِهِ» قَالَ «فَأَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ تَسْتَعِينُ بِهِ عَلَى كِتَابَتِهَا» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ took captives from Banu al-Mustaliq, Juwayriyah bint al-Harith b. Abi Dirar fell to the share of Thabit b. Qays b. al-Shammas. He made a contract of manumission with her for herself. She was a sweet and beautiful woman; hardly anyone saw her except that she captivated him. She came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ seeking his help with her contract of manumission. Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in the Talkhis.
