حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ الْعَدْلُ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ بَالَوَيْهِ قَالَا ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْحَرْبِيُّ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ عَنْ عَزْرَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ أَصَابَنِي جَنَابَةٌ وَإِنِّي تَمَعَّكْتُ فِي التُّرَابِ فَقَالَ «اضْرِبْ هَكَذَا» وَضَرَبَ بِيَدَيْهِ الْأَرْضَ فَمَسَحَ وَجْهَهُ ثُمَّ ضَرَبَ بِيَدَيْهِ فَمَسَحَ بِهِمَا إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِصحيح

✧ A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, “I have become ritually impure, and I rolled in the dust.” He said, “Strike like this,” and he struck the ground with his hands and wiped his face. Then he struck with his hands and wiped with them up to the elbows. Sahih.
