أَخْبَرَنِي قَاضِي الْقُضَاةِ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ الْبَجَلِيُّ صَاحِبُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ يَحْيَى وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْخَزَّازُ مَوْلَى أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الْمَنْصُورِ وَصَاحِبُ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْأَعْرَابِي ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَدَايِنِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي غَسَّانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ قَالَ

مَا كَانَ النَّاسُ يَشْكُونَ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ «بَايَعَ عَلِيًّا عَلَى أَنْ لَا يُقَاتِلَ مَعَهُ وَرَضِيَ عَلِيٌّ مِنْهُ بِذَلِكَ»
