✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Women wait for forty nights. If they see purity before that, then they are pure. But if they exceed the forty nights, then they are in the state of istihada (abnormal bleeding). They should wash and pray, and if bleeding overwhelms them, they should perform ablution for each prayer."
